Cabin lift Janske Lazne - Cerna hora

JANSKE LAZNE is a major spa town and center of summer and winter activities located in the eastern part of the Giant Mountains in the valley of the brook Janský potok under mountain Cerna hora (1299m above sea level).

In the year 2006, new 8-places cable cabin to Cerna hora was put onto operation, with the name „CERNOHORSKY EXPRESS“. The works took approximately 4 months, the producer of technology is Austrian company Doppelmayr. It is historically the third cable car from Janske Lazne to Cerna hora.

During the summer time can the visitors use the services of "Cernohorsky BUS“. It is a transport connection of cable cabin and bus from Pec pod Snezkou through Horni Marsov to Janske Lazne and back.

Transport oaf bikes and scooters on cable cabin and bus for free. We transport also dogs.

In the case of good weather conditions you can visit the view tower Panorama which is situated at the peak of mountain Cerna hora, where you can look at peaks of Giant mountains. The 1st Giant Mountains Educational Cycling Trail is open for visitors from mid-June and is 16km long and is going at forest paths of mountains Cerna and Svetla hora. The trail offers beautiful views at the main mountain of Giant mountain with its dominant - peak Snezka. The ideal start point is the upper cableway station.
